Emily Uterhark
Emily Uterhark graduated from Cleveland State, College of Law in 2021, and was admitted to the Ohio State Bar that very same year.
As a graduate of John Carroll University and Cleveland State, she dedicated her academic career to the study of gender equity, feminist movements, and human rights. During law school, Emily gained experience in family law and estate planning.
After passing the bar, Emily joined the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center as a victim advocate where she worked with survivors of sexual violence throughout the criminal justice process. At the crisis center, she used her legal background and knowledge of trauma informed services to advocate for her clients on a daily basis.
In her law practice, Emily utilizes those experiences to aid her clients throughout their biggest life changes. Tenacity and care are needed to be the best possible attorney for clients moving through major life moments such as marriages, family planning, custody, and estate planning. These moments are filled with many emotions, as well as legalities. We can provide the legal knowledge and empathy to help navigate these phases of your life.
